The Silicon Valley Innovation Challenge (SVIC) is one of two competitions hosted by the SVCE and co-promoted by IDEAS. Their mission is to cultivate entrepreneurs and provide the necessary guidance to enable students to take their innovative business ideas to the next level. Winners of the competition receive cash prizes to advance their innovations, but all participants receive mentorship and networking opportunities from SJSU faculty, industry experts, and entrepreneurs willing to support students in developing their ideas. All ideas remain the intellectual property of the participants. This year’s finalist showcase is scheduled for Wednesday, November 28 in the Student Union Ballroom, San Jose State University (SJSU). Event doors open at 10:00 a.m. for student setup and 1:00 p.m. for the general public. Doors close at 6:00 p.m.
