SVAcademy: Close the Gap Between College and Career

  • San Jose State University BBC 032 (map)

Want a hands on internship in tech that leads to a career at a hot startup?

On February 26th, Rahim Fazal (Inc. Top 30 Entrepreneurs Under 30, former CEO of Involver acquired by Oracle) will share his secret to fast tracking a high paying business job in tech -- even before you graduate college.

Rahim has helped several San Jose State students get jobs paying $70,000 to 90,000 a year at venture-backed companies like Lever, Apptimize, Contrast Security, Prysm, and Qubole.

This IDEAS event will showcase tips and strategies from a four-time founder on how to succeed in business development. A few lucky students will also get the opportunity to receive a $10,000 scholarship to Rahim’s exclusive SVAcademy Business Development Fellowship.

SVAcademy provides recent college graduates with training, internships, connections and jobs with hot startups and NASDAQ-list public technology companies headquartered in Silicon Valley. SVAcademy has recently been featured in Fortune, The Wall Street Journal, TechCrunch and Fast Company.

This event is open to all SJSU students, but is only limited to 70 students. It will be held in BBC 032 at 6 PM. RSVP today to secure your ticket.
